Winnipeg Optimist Athletics Club Fees
October 1, 2023 – September 30, 2024
NOTE: New athletes are required to purchase a singlet to wear during competitions. Last year, the cost of a singlet was $40. This year’s price has not been set.
Club fees include coaching and entry fees in Manitoba club events, facility access, and Athletics Manitoba Equipment Fee (different than Athletics Manitoba membership.
Club and Athletics Manitoba Registration
1. Athletics Canada has sent many of you a registration link to pay your Athletics Manitoba(Athletics Canada) Annual Membership and the Winnipeg Optimist Athletics Club Fees. They have not sent you the instructions to avoid paying about $30 bank processing fees on an annual registration.
2. If you choose to pay by credit card there is the additional bank processing fee. If you choose to do this go to the link sent or: https://athleticsreg.ca/#!/events/winnipeg-optimist-athletics-2024
3. To avoid the additional fee, you can e-transfer the registration fees to: paymentswoa@gmail.com or you can bring a cheque to practice. You must include the name of the athlete and the type of membership in the e-transfer!
3. After you send the fee I will sent you a coupon code that will allow you to avoid the bank processing fees. Then go to the link sent or: https://athleticsreg.ca/#!/events/winnipeg-optimist-athletics-2024
If you wish to avoid the processing fees, when you come to the credit card payment you can bypass with the PASSWORD of WOACMember2024.
At some point it will have a Coupon section then enter the code that I will send you.

Winter – Oct. 1, 2023 – Mar. 31, 2024 – $490 – and if you continue through the summer add $300
Summer only – (including new members) – Apr. 1, 2023 – Sept. 30, 2024 – $300
U14 & Younger (2011 and later) OR Masters (1993 or earlier)

Payment tips: When you get to the payment page, you should choose “other methods” and then “cheque”. This will get to the instructions on e- transfer or cheques and save a $15.99 processing fee by the online bank!
