Team Go change in Training schedule (Gee-ef and Oyinko’s Group)

Good job to everyone that competed this weekend. There were great results all around that resulted in personal bests, season’s bests and medal performances. Because of this, we will take Sunday and Monday off as well. Next practice will be Wednesday March 8.

For those of you who are not competing in High School Series, you are officially on break and should not come to those practices. Practices will resume again in the beginning of April. Use this time to get healthy, do not go training on your own. Take the time off!

For those competing in the High School series championships, I will see you Wednesday(not me physically but the workout will be on the wall).

Sincerely,

Gee-ef Nkwonta

National Cross Country News 2016

It was a cool and wet day underfoot at Fort Henry in Kingston (Ontario). Erin V. ran an excellent race, finishing in 30th place against women up to four years older than her. Erin ran her fastest time ever for 6km this day, 22:36; a time that would be the envy of many university athletes. Noah H. also had a fine run, running his fastest time ever for 6km in the youth race. Jennie BP ran in her final cross country race as a team-eligible junior woman and she can look back with pride at running for Canada three times, including the World Junior Championships in 2015 in China. Congratulations on a fine junior cross country career, Jennie.
